MG4s 001

This full day or morning only program is perfect for campers who will be entering Pre-Kindergarten in September 2017.  These little campers will enjoy fun-filled, hands- on activities in a small, nurturing environment. Each week brings a new theme to explore through arts and crafts, science, games, songs, storytelling, and much more. Three days a week, they will have water play outdoors with sprinklers and water toys, and will spend time daily on our large playground. A small snack will be served in the morning. In the afternoon, there will be a short rest period before our full-day Mini Gators resume fun activities. Precare, aftercare and lunch available.

Specialty Camps

Stone Ridge Summer CampUs will be offering specialty camps that are one week full day programs. We even have this option for our youngest campers too! Through our unique vendors, campers will have the opportunity to develop skills or participate in one-of-a-kind experiences.

COOKING CAMP BY TINY CHEFS ~ mini chefs for prek-1

While exploring cultural and food related themes, Tiny Chef's program includes a foundation of learning that enhances what kids learn in their regular classrooms; organization skills, safety, nutrition, working as a team, cooperation, taking turns. Basic reading and math skills are used daily, as campers follow recipes, learn to measure, and double or half the amounts. Campers will learn how much fun it is to cook, as well these special joys of cooking: Pride in creating a meal to share with others, Creativity in putting your own special twist on a familiar recipe. New techniques and skills while working with familiar foods and exotic delicacies, and learning a life skill is useful every day! We hope all our Tiny and Gourmet Chefs, and their families; enjoy the recipes we have included in their session. All students will receive an apron and cookbooks will be emailed after the session containing the recipes they have made, so that they may share their new skills, experiences and tastes with everyone at home. Send in a tupperware container for your child to take home extra goodies from camp!

WEEK 3 ~ JULY 5-7 :  $240 FOR 3 DAY WEEK

THEME: TEENY TINY CHEFS

Everyone knows that even the youngest kids love to create in the kitchen and we at Tiny Chefs have developed a class just for the preschool culinary set! In this specially designed program, we connect cooking concepts and recipes with themes and characters drawn from selected children’s books, and add songs and motion and movement activities to keep our tiniest chefs engaged. Picky eater Lola from I Will Never Not Ever Eat a Tomato will help us make Morning Glory Muffins,  we will learn the Chicken Dance while waiting for our Cheese Strata to bake and sing On Top of Spaghetti while making Pasta Primavera.  Each day will also introduce the students to “Kitchen Science”—fun experiments that will teach them how science and food go hand-in-hand.

Precare, aftercare and lunch available for our vendor programs as well.
